Chance's 'New Do!'

So Chance the other day decided that he was sick of how he did his hair and wanted something new, sadly there isn't a WHOLE lot you can do with guy hair to make it 'different' so I let him ponder and he decided he wanted to do a mohawk :) I must say I did it more to be funny than to 'look good' but I actually really do like it!

Little Hadley Girl!

Today was a pretty fun day! Chance and I got to go have a 3-D Ultrasound done, it was really cool! It was SO hard for us to get a picture of her face cause she was snuggled up so close to the placenta like it was a pillow! We must have interrupted her usual nap time because she would NOT move (Chance says she has my stubbornness I just think she's a deep sleeper like me!) BUT.. with some poking and prodding she eventually moved, not alot, but enough for us to see her cute little face and the FATTEST cheeks I've ever seen! She's adorable! She's definitely got Chance's chubby cheeks (the ones he had when he was a baby... obviously not now:))
We don't know WHERE here big lips came from but my guess is her cheeks are so fat that they pinch em out! Sadly we the ONE shot of her face actually facing us we didn't get (she's quick!) so you can't see just how HUGE her cheeks are but these pictures do them a little justice... She's a doll we'll put more pictures up later these are just a few I've taken of the pictures from my phone so they're not the greatest but still do the job!

She's all curled up you can see her leg/knee and her shoulder and then her head...

Look at that little face! SO cute! again, no idea where those big lips came from but I LOVE those fat little cheeks!

Our NEW CAR!!!

So... Chance and I are really irresponsible, we have a baby on the way but what the heck we decided to get a new car.. Mine was almost paid off and I just wanted something new and more fun so we got me this... I think it'll do...

Wahahaaa ok so we all know that was a big fat lie. Chuck's buddy Scotty is as spoiled as they come! Chance and I were just talking the other day about how the new Camaros were coming out and we both just knew that it was only a matter of time before Scotty had one. Well, we were sitting around digesting after our big Father's Day dinner when we see an orange flash pull into the drive way and we both said 'Scotty got the new Camaro!!' and went outside. Sure enough! It was beautiful. Sadly Scotty likes his Dodge Challenger more, we offered to take this off his hands but he turned us down... But she is a BEAUTIFUL car!

My Dad!

It was a little hard this year to not be able to spend Father's Day with my Dad even though I wanted SO badly to be there with him! I've always been a Daddy's Girl, that's definitely never going to change, and I'm SO grateful for the relationship I have with him. I am so grateful to have such a strong Father, inside and out... a little more in than on the outside now... must come with old age :). It amazes me that through the hardest times that we've gone through it's only made him even stronger, I'm so grateful to him for that. He's always been 'my rock' and the one that I always know I can turn to about anything. He's my hero and I love him so much! I am SO grateful to Heavenly Father for blessing me with such an amazing Dad! He really is the best I could ever ask for I love him SO much!

Wheeeere's the BABY!?

I've been trying SO hard lately to get a picture or even video of our baby girl moving but I can't ever seem to catch it in time so I finally got a picture today of her pushing on my belly you can see the lump from her little bum (which is what the doctor guessed it was but you really never know!)... sadly it was just as she was moving so it's not as big as it was BUT I still wanted to post it!!

hopefully i'm not the only one that thinks this is cool! (especially because now I'm DETERMINED to get more pictures of her doing this that will REALLY show it! :))

Alright so now that the voting is closed I can't tell you how SWEET the victory is!!! :) The Black and White car seat tied with the Giraffe (we took votes via blog, myspace, and facebook), which were my two picks, and Chance's UGLY butterfly car seat was DOMINATED with only 3 votes!!!! So, as amazing as this victory is now it's up to me to mend Chance's bruised ego! But first I must gloat... I would like to thank everyone for their participation and support! Thank my family for the love and support they've always given me! Thanks to Chance for agreeing to this 'vote' so I could avoid buying an UGLY car seat. And again, thank you everyone who supported us! :) And of course I must thank the fans because without them I wouldn't be here!!!

lol sorry ANYWAY.... moral of the story... My car seats won, they tied eachother so that doesn't help the decision but atleast we know that the ugly butterfly is out of the question!

OH DEAR!!!

Our Disappearing Act!

Well apparently I don't keep in touch with my families as good as I should and it took Memorial Weekend to show me that! Chance and I got invited down to Lake Powell for the weekend with his friend Jeff and his family. They have quite a few big boats (and one spare) so we were able to stay on those, it was SO much fun! It was my first trip to Powell and I got SPOILED! Uncle Brad and Aunt Burn fed us the ENTIRE TIME! (and Burn wasn't shy about OVER feeding me and my pregnant self! She REALLY didn't want the baby to go without!) It was a GREAT time it's SUCH a gorgeous place I couldn't believe it! BUT our phones died while we were down there and because we weren't expecting to be on Yachts with power plugs we didn't bring our chargers, but didn't worry too much about it. BAD IDEA! Apparently I’m not the ONLY paranoid one in my family because Dad and Mary (well and everyone I’m sure cause we’re THAT awesome) were worried SICK! Mary’s first thought (Chance is still holding a grudge for) was that he’d murdered me and taken off! OR that we’d BOTH been murdered while on my turkey hunt. OR that we’d gone to Chuck’s (chance’s dad’s) for dinner and THE WHOLE FAMILY had been taken out!! EEEK! Luckily, our only injuries were my sunburned shoulders and there weren’t any psychopaths in sight! Here are a few pictures from our wonderful trip!
