I didn't even cry!!!!

Well it's a tad late but I'm getting demands and my computer freezes every time I try to work so I thought I'd take this opportunity to post some pictures from my birthday/the turkey hunt! We had so much fun!

We'd been trying all weekend to get me a good turkey but had NO luck, I guess after getting shot at turkeys get really smart! So our last morning there we decided to sleep in (we were lazy), Chance's allergies were bugging him that morning so he started to get restless so around 7:30 we decided to get up and just see what we could sneak up on. We were driving past our regular fields and saw 3 small jakes out in one so we decided to try and sneak in on them but as soon as they saw our truck on the road they took off and we lost them so we were about to just head back to camp and call it good when Chance saw a tom strutting out of the corner of his eye, I told him it was just a tire and lets head home but we backed up and he pulled up the binos on him and sure enough it was a Tom!!! I was pretty excited. We jumped the fence and started in on the other side of the trees he was at. We came to a little clearing and were waiting when I saw him come around the trees, I said 'I see him', but chance didn't hear me so he started to walk towards me and spooked the Tom. He took off in the other direction. So chance decided to jump in the truck and head him off at the other side of the field. We got there just as he was strutting up to some hens. So we waited. The owner of the land drove by on his 4 wheeler and it spooked him and he actually started heading right for us so we waited for him to cross the ditch and fence and we'd just pull right up on him he started just running right next to the truck and then heading back down the ditch he was only 10 ft from me when 'click!' I FORGOT TO RELOAD THE GUN!!!! Yep... I forgot we'd taken the round of the chamber when he jumped back in the truck! By then he'd flew over the fence and ditch and was on a dead run, so I reloaded and BOOM! got him! WAHOO!!!! Chance was SO excited! He jumped out of the truck and BOUNDED across the ditch AND fence (all in one leap) just yipping and screaming the whole him! He sounded like a loony toon! it was so funny! I was SO excited though it was so much fun!

Here are some pictures from the trip!!!

Bigfoot??? or Wade.... :) We'll say Wade just to be safe!... and keep me from going home!!!
The PRETTIEST horse I've ever seen! I loved it!
If I could've I would've taken it home with me and kept it in my house!!!

BAD rest!!

That's right BAD rest! Not BED rest it's BAD rest! OH my goodness I will put myself into a coma before I let someone put me on bed rest EVER AGAIN!

Alright here's the story folks! And you're going to get the long version!

LAST Saturday (the 11th) I started getting a pain in my side, it was a pretty mild pain, I'd had pains like this before and they'd just gone away and wasn't a big deal at all so I didn't think much of it. Chance and I were running errands and doing a few things for the house that day and it was getting progressively worse and worse and more and more painful and I started fevering worse and worse. We called around to a few doctors offices that night to see what they recommended and they were all saying if you go in just go to the ER because they'll be able to run all of the tests yada yada. I told him no I was fine and we'd go tomorrow if I still felt like this (because I did NOT want to hear 'well it'll go away just take some Tylenol and let us know if it's not gone by Tuesday - what you TYPICALLY hear when you go to the doctor). Well I woke up every half hour that night I was completely miserable and in so much pain, but with a strong/stubborn Morris upbringing I didn't tell Chance and I stuck it out! Sunday we went to his mom's for Easter breakfast and some family fun, I managed to survive the morning and Chance and I went straight home when we were done. I was in bed most of the day and just thinking about another night like the one before and after much hounding from Chance I decided to go to the ER. I was terrified, it was my first trip to the ER so I said a little prayer that they would be able to figure out what was wrong and that I wouldn't have to wait too long to see the doctor. Well Heavenly Father loves me and listened to my prayers! When we got there we waited 15 minutes, there was only one person before me and there were probably 6+ groups of people that came in right after we did.

They ran a couple tests and found out I had a kidney infection and a urinary track infection (surprisingly I was relieved to KNOW what it was! another great blessing from my Heavenly Father), so they stuck me with an IV pumped me with 1 liter of fluids to flush my kidneys, antibiotics to kill the infection, and morphine for the road. But the morphine was about as much as you would give an infant who's allergic to morphine and it didn't do a thing! I must say it was a very disappointing morphine go. The doctor that saw me didn't give me any prescriptions because I was pregnant so they called my OB to let them know what was going so they knew, and also in case they wanted to see me. Well they said I HAD to come in first thing Monday, no way around it, had to come in.

So at my appt Monday they did another test of my urine and verified what we discovered the night before at the ER. They wanted to do an ultrasound of my kidney to see exactly what was wrong but said I might have to come back in an hour or two but the wonderful ultrasound tech (she was so sweet and I'm very grateful to her) said she would do it though it was her lunch break then. So we went in and the left kidney looked great but my right wasn't so pretty, even I could see it wasn't in top shape. It was swollen and backed up with fluids and very very ugly. So my doctor said she just wanted me to rest and get better, which i took as don't stress yourself out at work when you go in tomorrow... I was very mistaken.. She said NO work no no no work I must relax and rest all week. So she put me on 7 days of bed rest. They gave me a prescription antibiotic, iron pills (that has nothing to do with my kidney), refilled my head ache medicine, and gave me some percasets for the pain.

Well it was a miserable week! I could hardly move because of the pain, I had no appitite but I'm much better now! I have a follow up appt today with my OB to be 'officially' taken off bed rest and I'm hoping for good news! I feel much better so I'm sure that's what I'll hear but I will keep you posted!
OH and all of this was caused by our sweet baby Hadley pinching off my tubes and not letting my kidney drain into my bladder which caused the fluids to back up into my kidneys as well as bacterias causing the infection. Surprisingly I didn't feel the UTI at all, the kidney stole most of the thunder... all of the thunder!

And little Hadley girl was a trooper through all of this! She was happy and kicking at her mom through the whole ordeal!

Just a Drop in the Bucket!

I can't even EXPRESS how much I love Chance! He is my best friend and I am so grateful that I found him! We get along so well and are now expecting our first little baby and best surprise ever!

MOVING MADNESS!!!

So as I posted before over the weekend Chance and I were able to move into our place. It's a cute cute place. It's a basement apartment in Saratoga Springs (west of Pleasant Grove, it's a new area..) 2 bedroom, the second bedroom won't be finished for a month or so but we're ok with that! It's so cute I love it I'm just excited to FINALLY get everything unpacked! Saturday was the big day, I was supposed to go to work that day for a half day and do a training but I woke up at 6 in the morning and had a terrible flu. I hadn't had the flu in such a long time it was miserable! I couldn't move without making myself throw up more. So poor chance moved everything but our dresser and bed by himself. I felt SO! His dad was able to come home and help him get the bed and dresser upstairs but that was it! And while they were loading I tried my best to bag things up or pile them in an order that they could load them easier but that just wasn't in the cards, i would load a few things up and have to run to the bathroom or just lay down and settle my stomach. It was a disaster!

We were able to spend Saturday night in our new place, we cleared room in our room for our bed and set it up and went to bed! We were both beat! So Sunday I woke up and tried my very best to unpack and i probably got 2 boxes unpacked from 7 AM -3 Pm.. miserable... We got more done later that night but here's what our house looked like Saturday!! It's much better now, I did quite a bit last night but just so you can see the disaster that it was! I'll hopefully get some 'after' pictures taken tonight so you can see my marvelous touch!

And as you may notice there are no pictures... I am having technical difficulties... I'll load them when I put up the 'after' pictures! :) Thank you for your patience!

Drum Roll PLEASE!!....

Today's the big day! We got to find out what our little 'it' is! the voting shows that no one can get along and choose what it is! It was literally 50-50! Same with our families! Chance's family said girl, mine said boy (other that Krysten, Mary, and Mom... they said girl...) And well....

(ignore the triple chin please)

It's a girl!!!! Meet our little Hadley K Amador!

The Ultrasound was AMAZING! We got to see her yawn a couple times(she's like her mommy already!), stick her tongue out, and wiggle all around! She was a little doll! She kept putting her little arms up and hiding her face so I'm glad we got to see her little face! If we can find someone who's computer smart I'll put up our DVD so you can see her sweetness! We are so excited! She's a great little blessing and can't wait to meet our little doll but I'm sure she's having fun with Great Grandpa Morris and Uncle Brian! And I'm sure Uncle Claude is teaching her to wink and sing 'put that pistol down!'

Making Ammends

So all my life I've hated April, the month, the name, I just hated the whole thing! I can't figure out what the base of this hate is but I never liked it. It could be because it's the month before my birthday and I just want my birthday OR the fact that playing ninja turtles when we were little I was always forced to be April (being number 5 and there are only 4 turtles..). I just hated this month but I'd say so far this month is lookin REAL good! And I want to take back my hatred of April...

FIRST bit of good news! We got our own place! It worked out WAY too perfectly! Chance and I have been praying to find a place that works for us and we hadn't had the greatest luck until now! This couple at my work just finished their basement and were going to have their friends move in but things ended up falling through, so they were in a panic thinking they just dumped all of this money into their basement and now aren't going to have money for their mortgage! So a friend of mine told me about their situation and I was ON it! Chance and I went to see it Sunday evening, and put down our deposit. It's PERFECT! Right now it's only 1 bedroom but the second bedroom will be finished in a couple months. It's a BEAUTIFUL house! I'll post pictures as soon as we're done moving. We'll be moving in this weekend! (But they're letting us bring stuff over during the week also so we don't have to do it all Saturday so we're just taking a load of stuff every day that we don't HAVE to have before next week. But we are SO excited! WAHOO!

SECOND bit of GREAT news!!! It's conference this weekend! I'm so excited!

THIRD and final!!! WE FIND OUT WHAT THE BABY IS IN LESS THAN A WEEK!!! WAHOOOOO!!!! Only 4 DAYS!!!!
